High-quality HS221 brass welding rods with approximately 60% brass content, designed for gas welding and brazing of brass, copper, steel, cast iron, and carbide tools. Also suitable as a surfacing material for valve sealing and light-load wear-resistant surfaces.

Usage Guidelines

• Clean the weld groove surface thoroughly before welding
• Preheat workpiece to 400–500°C; use gas welding solvent during welding
• Use a slightly oxidising flame; keep welding speed high to minimise zinc evaporation
